Championship Manager: Season 00/01 is a game simulation developed by Sports Interactive Limited and published by Eidos Interactive, Inc.. Originally released in United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy in 2000. Currently you can download and play the game for Windows Mac.

The Championship Manager series is about choosing a soccer team and managing it over a possible 30-year career. You have to deal with signing and selling players, choosing your team and its formation and tactics, and making sure you have the support staff (coaches and scouts, for example) to keep your current players fit and make sure you spot the new stars first.

This is the third version of the Championship Manager 3 game engine and, as usual, includes updated squads to take into account transfers, as well as player stats and skills. It now includes 26 leagues from all over the world.

As usual in the latest versions of a CM iteration, a data editor has been added. The press will now ask you information-packed questions about team performance and potential signings, and you must solve them by choosing the valid answer. In addition, players now interact in different ways, and don't always get along with each other, as well as having more potential reasons to be unhappy.
